Has it really been that long?

Hmmm, it says My last visit here was on 20-09-2007. I knew it had been ages, but seriously!

It gets a bit depressing when your bike's been out of rego for a few years due to nothing more than a lack of coin and you read on these forums about all you lucky bastards out there enjoying your rides.

Good news is at hand, though. I've thrown in the towel on this courier driving caper coz it just ain't paying the bills. Too much of the income going straight to Caltex. Anyways, I'm going back on the tools, back to my trade in Aircraft Maintenance to make more brass and spend a shitload less in the process of earning it, even though it means spending the week in Nowra and coming home for weekends.

The stepdaughter's getting married next February so we've gotta toss a few grand at all that's involved with that- I'm sure most of you can relate. Of course, her deadbeat arsehole father ain't chipping in, so guess who got un-invited? I feel like sending himm some pics of the wedding showing everyone having a great time, but not one pic featuring the bride & groom. Cockhead.

Anyway, once the mulah is put aside for all that, I can start getting the bits and pieces together to get the bus roadworthy again. It's a long tunnel, but finally I can see there is a light at the end of it.

Cheers all,
Wazza.

Good luck wazza, the highway is for cruising and bruising! What needs to be done to the bike to bring her back?

Cheers guys, she needs a battery, new hoses & fluids [coolant, brakes, clutch], new tyres, registration. Not a big list, but a pricey one when times are tough.
