Hayabusa Sidestand
#1
Hey everyone was wondering if anyone else has an issue with their sidestand I feel it doesn't go far enough forward and the other day while I left my baby warming up in drive I hear a crash from outside run out and the bike had fallen forward on stand and into my car and was on its left side, I know what your thinking maybe it wasn't properly up but I swear it was and while there is a slight decline in my drive way I would say it is very minimal my 2 previous bikes a CBR250RR and an R1 had no such problems starting to think this bike is cursed as this is the second time it has been down once on each side I could cry...

Mate there is a sidestand mod - or you can do what i do and that is too put it in gear whenever i turn the key off. Unless you warm it up on a flat or slight uphill you will have to sit on it so it stays there.

They have always been like that, a problem from day one, mine fell over twice as well, most will have a similar storey to tell. Stand needs to be notched.

is this the fact the busas stand doesnt go forward far enough to have it rolling backwards to lock it into place? because ive seen these bolt on feet for sidestands by touratech to make the foot bigger, for softer places, wonder if that would help at all?
