Helmet Cameras, who has one and advice
#1
Greetings guys -- i am looking for a helmet camera for my own personal use ( nothing for youtube) so what do you guys have -- what did it cost and do you have a sample video to show quality of video ?

how did you fit the camera to your lid ?

i am looking at some on ebay ( both in aus and USA - yes in PAL ) cant always trust there adds , would prefer people that actually have them and have used them for a while to comment - rather than a seller promising the world

looking forward to comments

thanks

Boc

if you don't want to post your vid demo online for the world -- you can email it to me at Boc1971@hotmail.com -- i wont use it for anything -- just want to get an idea of picture quality at different speeds and or angles .. and light and compare different camera's and set ups

thanks

Just stumbled across this, cant recommend it as I dont have one. I made my own camera mount for a sony handy cam that fits in nice behind the screen. Made from an old tripod, couple of bits of aluminium and some steel tube, few nuts bolts and washers and there you go, took an hour. Worked good but never bothered with it after the first time videoing, video was too boring
