The 1,000 k service should only be an oil and filter change - not an oil cooler change!

I'd be sending those photos direct to Suzuki Australia Service Manager I reckon.

Mine runs at half way all the time even on hot days like we've been having lately 35C+, id prefer it ran at normal than cooler.
Its better that it reaches operating temperature quickly and stays there than running cool.
My legs do get hot but the hot air only has one place to go and thats back past the headers, the motor and onto your legs

+1 Same here on my K8, guage reads slightly below halfway all the time. If it varies it will be no more than a needle width here in Florida and it does get cold here ocaisionally.
