what colour is the rev limiter wire and where can i find it.

Not that simple, its within the ecu, there are several ways to change the rev limit,
some guys in the US put a different timing crystal into the ecu that runs the limit on 02-07 up to 11150prm, a little more on the earlier ecu's.
or there is /will be a programme that will allow changes within the ecu , thats just becoming available now. check Gazza's post in this area.
