Throttle Body Synchronisation?
#1
Went to the dealer for first service, I know the man in spare parts there farely well, and he said that they'll "Synchronise" the throttle bodies, as this makes them go a little harder! "Yeah baby" I thought!

Unfortunately for me though, SDS disc 12 had not arrived at the dealer and it didn't get done.

Has any one had their Gen II "Done" yet?
Did it make any difference?

I can't imagine them being far out from new, especially with only 1000kms on the clock, but if it makes it better in any way....then I'll rebook!!

Throttle bodies should be set exact from new.
I don't think they will need touching till at least 1 or 2 years.
(Unless you use the bike for competition)

Correct sync is most noticeable around idle and very light throttle, do you trust that the sync was checked at predelivery?

No, I trust that the brand new throttle bodies were assembled properly by the robot.

Usually more danger of someone not knowing well enough what there doing and making it worse.
If its idling smooth all is well, fast idling then dropping to stalling would be an indication there way out

Everything seems good, runs well etc.....However.......
I've just ordered the SDS tool from Suzuki, so I will be able to tinker with it very soon!!!
So I should be able to have a look firstly to see if they are far out, and then secondly adjust them accordingly.

Hope they are spot on, will be good to see!!

No more held to ransom from Suzuki Dealer......especially when you doubt, they actually do what they say they do!!!!

Keep us posted

If your bike runs well now it'd be nice to know how much better it is after adjustment, may be syncing throttle bodies will remove some vibrations, who knows
Mine is as smooth as a babys bottom
