SWITCH HOUSING DIAGRAM?

HEY guys,

I bought a new set of chrome switch housing covers last summer and someone decided that they really liked them...........enough to steal them off my bike! they took the covers but noe the insides, which they left scattered on my garage floor. I have the factory ones but do not know how they go back together as when I got the chrome ones I just switched it all over by looking at my factory ones! does anyone have a diagram of how these go back together (right and left) because I am lost without being able to look at someone elses! (no other busa's in my area!)

I also have a quick bit of info to fix a 99-00 busa with stuttering problems that works everytime! (done it 3 times to 3 different bikes! always works)

I am sure you all know this model year has a bad problem with the fuel pump filters clogging up and they are HARD to find!

solution: take your pump apart and REMOVE all filters! I know this sounds terrible but all you have to do is put a $5.00 inline filter for a V8 carburated engine in between the out line for the tank and the in line to the pump! this filter is clear and can be checked easily often by just lifting your tank. If it gets anything in it, you can see it and take five minutes to replace that filter by putting a new one on. this also helps with throttle response!

the filter initially was re-done in a recall in '99. the stuttering low down was a mapping issue basically fixed by the TRE. but that add on filter is a good idea that some have installed many yrs back. I for one still havent done it but I service the pump myself generally. Welcome to the site.

Thanks for the link on the manaul, I downloaded it but it doesn't have anything in it about how the "guts" go back in the left switch housing.........anyone know where I could find a diagram or some pics of how the signal switch and parts go back in there???? I have a bunch of little parts and NO IDEA how all this little plastic junk goes back in!!! thanks for any and all help!

here are the parts I'm talking about............got it figured out except those two little gold pieces which I have pictured in picture 2 with the screws that hold them all in. can anyone tell me where these two little pieces go or a picture of where they go???? any help would be GREATLY appreciated

They retain the wires , hold them out of the way of being pinched when the switchblock is removed and replaced.
