I remember old threads with wet vs dry, and nitros vs turbos etc.
but cant find them now.
I want my bike to stay basically standard, and am wondering about the virtues of nitros.
I am assuming it can be hidden, out of the way, and wouldn't effect anything with the motor except when you feel the need for that little extra urge.
Most of the time the busa has ample go, so I figure it would spend most of the time off, but when riding with a few of the newer bikes, the busa doesn't hold its domination on the straights where it used to, and this is when a little injection of "boost" might be handy.
Top end isn't a problem, as the busa still winds out past it's rivals.
It would also add a little bit of 'street cred' to the old girl.
But what about reliability?
I don't mind wheelies or the back letting go, but I want the motor to stay reliable, and not blow up in a big puff of white smoke, or even just fail to proceed. - There aint no credability in that.
I know most would probably say just turbo it and be done, I've been down that road before although in another era, and would like to something a bit different. It's as much a two up cruiser and tourer as it is a toy.
So I'd be interested in some feed back from anyone with experience in Nitros on the busa.
Is it a good thing or a complete money wasting wank?
