Rear Hugger Instalation
#1
Just got a rear hugger for the Bus, and am having trouble instaling it. It appears it fits in the stock chain guard holes. But then it appears that you have to drill and tap 2 new holes one on the other side of the swing arm and one on top of the rear of the swingarm (is this a good idea??). Has anyone elso installed one of these huggers, what is the best way to do it....

Its this style....

Nick,
I've got one of those at home mate. Just make up a bracket to clamp it around the left side swingarm gusset (use a thin strip of rubber inside to stop it scratching the alloy). Dont drill any holes mate - they tend to stay there long after the hugger has been trashed by rocks.
