well itsw $220 (jetstar) each wat to get there in the arvo but over $400 for a morning flight and I cant justify nearly $900 in air fair for less than 3 days cause I can go back to thailand for that price...

looks like I'll have to find a cheap motel for a couple a days and just check out whats around there.
