I must be getting old. I have travelled to quite a few places and this trip added a few more destinations...well adds I should say as I am still in Rome and about to leave for Thailand tomorrow and then home...anyway....I have had a great time don,t get me wrong but shit...Australia has it all...really...no pollution, no traffic, no paying for toilets, fantastic new and working public facilities, great scenery, great weather...it goes on...this trip was for a wedding and to see family...when the next one comes up i will be seeing more of Oz.

Stand proud Australia....a great country...no wonder so many want to come here...Pi_thumbsup

Yes don't leave home till you've seen the country. This is a great place DJ. Now if I can pass M8ees citizenship test I might be in.

Ive always found the best part of leaving oz for overseas is the return, only when youve left oz for a while does one appreciate the place upon returning. so always good to get away even just to affirm the place you live in is by far one of the best places on earth. Just like Oz in Alice of Wonderland, our Oz is truly a magical place, the envy of many.

Yes Grant, I too have an Oz flag that is out front more often than not. Only down at the moment cause the storms and hail are tearing stuff appart.

I agree. Pisses me off to hear these (able bodied) whining wankers bitching about how hard they are doing it in Oz. f*** off & live in rural China or the MIddle East, or India, or some of the African countries. Then they might actually have something to whinge about.

Pisses me off more when you hear the imigrants bitching about Oz. If they dislike it soooo much, then why stay. f*** of to some other country.
