38mm Gate this brand O.K. ?

This brand of waste gate any good??
Big diff in price to Tial or Turbosmart.
$160 compared to $500

There's good and bad in the TiAl copys, haven't seen that one before, but i use the SSS Autochrome 38mm and 46mm wastegates, no probs in 4 yrs, the 46mm on my racebike has soaked in salt , totally cooked for long runs at hi boost , and is fine .

As per the above post from Maj, I have the 38mm one and the construction is very good. The pricing on the brands mentioned by Maj is also very competitive compared to a Turbosmart or a Tial.

antsbuza there is another tial copy (see pic) which is very well made and has much more finning and a very narrow neck between the valve and the diaphram , they dont come up very often now (ebay) but its worth looking for, this one is on my bussa

I'll look into the ssautochrome.

There's also a company in vic AXT Turbo that do kits for 4wd and diesel.
They get there own Gates and blow off valves made for a reasonable price.
and sell them seperatly.
