I probably have the MRAA to thank for this....

I opened today's mail and there was a letter from Victoria Police.

"I refer to your Traffic Infringement Notice..." - The one I got on the way to the GP.

"On perusal fo the circumstances..." blah blah "... offence was committed.."

"Subsequently the ntice has been withdrawn in favour of this Caution Notice. You are reminded that Road Laws are designed to set a standard of safety for all road users..."

I suspect so, although I wonder if those with a more excessive speed may not have been so fortunate. Mine was only 5 k's over...
