Hi guys,
just replaced my CPU. motherboard and video card. Local compu shop did it. I am now faced with rebuilding all programs, setting etc. what a headache. I had kazaa-lite installed, share and search music etc. Great for al multi media stuff. can't find a free version. Everybody want money to join a members area. can anyone help with a free site please?

Max.... Kazaa is a known host for a number of nasties (as in Malware, Spyware, Virus etc). I'm not sure if its still around, but if it is I'd advise you not to even consider installing it again.
Give LimeWire a try. I've been using it for ages and its great. Theres a pay version and a free version. The free one is excellent. I use it mainly for music, but it also has software. The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob

the Kazaa lite +++ was great, no spyware, no adds, just seek and download every type of files, from serial numbers for hot pirates to the odd occassional very hot stuff, even found my Hayabusa poster using Kazaalite. I'll certainly look at you ones you have suggested though.

Max, unless you also replaced the hard drive, your old one should have still retained all the loaded software and simply needed the drivers for the new hardware to be installed.
Did the shop wipe your drive or replace that as well?
And, sorry can't help you with Kazaa question, although I'm sure if you searched google you would find your old version somewhere if that is what you prefer.

The folder is there no worries, but I cannot activate it. No exe file anywhere to be seen. I actually have two of them but cannot get it to execute into a live program. Believe me we have searched high and low and can only find sites where you have to pay for a membership. f*** that!
