Hey Canberra mob. This is the annual special kids christmas party. I'm going along, does anyone want to come with me? We can make it a club thing. This is a lovely opportunity to spend time with kids less fortunate than our own.

Canberra Special Children's christmas party

The organisers of the event approached the MRA ACT to organise some motorcycles for a display at this years Christmas Party. The party itself commences at 11:00 and runs to 1500 and is at the Budawang Pavillion at Epic.
What I would like to organise is for 10 to 15 bikes to be there for the day to allow the kids (while supervised) to climb on, sit, and just enjoy themselves. An opportunity they may not normally enjoy. I call it a Show and Sticky event as your pride and joy may end up with a few sticky fingerprints or a bit of ice-cream on the highly polished chrome and paint work :-). I would like to add there will be no carrying of children on the bikes i.e. pillioning.
Date and Time: 16th December 2006 - get there around 1030 to 1045.
Where: Budawang Pavillion EPIC
Duration: As long as you can spare but the event finishes at 1500.
