I think this might be a record. The clutch exploded in this Gen II powered buggy last Sunday. In the space of one week I managed to dismantle the entire engine to its individual components, find the problem, clean out the remains of the clutch plate from throughout the engine, replace ALL the bearings, oil pump, clutch plates, clutch hat, made mods to increase oil flow to the clutch, (including high volume pump gear and high pressure relief valve), fit new undercut gears, refit the engine and run it in!
The record being that we managed to order and receive ALL the big end and main bearing shells within a week!
Wednesday night we hook up ECU Editor and the SDS to finalise tuning in time for Round One of the 2013 Western Australian Off Road Championship at Yealering next weekend.
Hayabusa power will hopefully clean up the big-money truggies!
