Fork tubes (inner)
#1
my old 99 is showing signs of wear on inner tubes. Expensive to replace OEM and I'm not sure who does good recon work here in WA.
Any thoughts?

I've also noticed that mine are adjusted all the way to max.
Thinking I might go ohlins inners.

A few years ago, I had stiffer (by 10%) springs inserted and damping (oil as well) adjusted by a local suspension man.
Great job, and now I'm back in for a drain and flush, but the chrome is starting to wear (no leaks yet), so wondering long term what options exist.

I'll get mine polished first. If they come up OK then they will see me out. If not, I'll ping you and make an offer! Should know next week.
