Brid 020

Just got 6 thousand ks out of a bridgestone 020 180, pretty good did some hard rides on it and some big wheelies, before that i had a dunlop 207 200, Now I got the 208 180, any thoughts from the members. I had trouble getting the 200 all the way over to the edge, no prob with the 180.

Are these tyres dual compound? One guy says 'yes', the other says 'no', adding that you can't get dual compound 190 tyres.

I`ve been using the 208 for about 18mths. 190 section initially but the 200 for about the last 8mths.

Always been very happy and confident with these tyres. (averaging about 7-8 thou for the rear)

The 200 really does look shit-hot on the Busa.
....and you`re right,it`s pretty hard to get all the way to the edge (always just a `bee`s dick` away)...but you are getting a huge `confidence inspiring` contact patch.

Chapter 4 in the Reefton Snail Tyre Journal....
Just had a "scrub in the new tyres" session on the way to work this morning. The 020 rear is pretty good so far. Haven't leaned it all the way just yet, but it feels great. More a feeling of new tyre profile than anything else I reckon.

The new front is fantastic as well (012). Wha'd'ya expect? Hopefully will give them a blat this weekend.

Thanks Rocket, I need some life out of them though. I'm tkaing a pinch of your advice and bringing my pressures down from 42 to 38 psi.

Managed to get some more turning time on them last night. New emoticon rating:

The front is definitely very sticky and the rear somehow avoids being scuffed. I've also noticed that the 020 rear allows more angle to lean before hitting the chicken strip than the Pirelli Elfuktupo.
