I bought this kit http://www.motorcyclehidlights.com/suzuk...asts-p-209

Only had them on the bike for a very short time as I found them to be too bright and I did not like the idea of having ballasts, strikers and wiring etc..
shoved and taped into strange places so I took them out. I may revisit them again one day but for now I'm more than happy with Phillips +100% globes.

No problems with the kit though. Quality is good. It comes with 2 of everything so you'll end up with a spare. Both are H7.

There are some very good aux lights available now. Much, much simpler install than HIDs.

Have a look at these..

Hi John,

Yes it is pretty simple what you asked. And stupid of me as I mis read your questions.

Ok John,

First I would use only low beam in 6000k or 8000k no higher then that as the light bulb is not as bright as the two I have shown you and go more bluer as you go up. and as the high beam takes a little while to light up which I don't like.
one link for you and only buy Philips Patent Licensed Bulbs. http://www.delonixradar.com.au/hid-xenon...5w-canbus/

Also slim ballast as you can fit the slim one easy to your air in take tube. You can pick the 35Watt or 50Watt and Digital ballasts is a must. as they light up faster then normal ballasts. I am thinking of using just the H7 Xenon HID system and use the Philips H9 bulb.

Just one note on fitting the H7 low beam, you have to use a spacer between the bulb and the wire clip that holds the bulb in it's place. You can bend the wire so that it fits well onto the bulb. But I found a spacer did the trick and easy to just replace the H7 bulb with out any problems.
Don't buy cheap Ballasts or the HID system, only buy the Philiphs systems which will be very dear (German made) or Philiphs Patent licensed systems which are cheaper.
Thanks John

Hi John,
Here is a site that have the HID systems cheaper but not Philiphs. May help the pocket a bit.

John,

I got mine on Ebay. went for the more expensive ones approx $160.
They are 8000K bulbs and are awesome.

When you go to install them do it by removing the dash not the nose cone!
You can access everything this way.

Also go to Autobarn and get the white LEDS. The standard look ridiculous with the HIDS...
I have pics if you wan to have a look or need advise on installation.

John,

The company on ebay was Bike Money or www.bikemonkey.com.au
He was very helpful when I needed some advise.

John,

I also took out the gauge cluster as it's so easy from there. I bought the blue bulbs and put them in the parking lights as they do look sad.
I found the same blue bulbs I used but from UK. here is there web site. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/220824573969?...K:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
Hope this helps.
Thanks John

Hi to all

I changed the bulb holder, cored and pasent convenience for the HID lamp.
I fit just the 2 ballast behind the lamp on the support.
