reservoir covers

Can someone tell me if gen 1 & gen 2 reservoir covers are the same part as i put a set of stock gen 1 on to my gen 2 and they leak around the lid i can not tighten any more
They do look a bit larger as there is movement side to side

I don't know for sure Rod , (I've never tried interchanging them) but i'm guessing you just answered your own question.
Should not be any movement of the cover once it's tightened down.

I think they are Rod, they look the same item but you never know
