I went up to see Pete at Pete's Pitstop at Glenwood today for my 12k service, flashtune and dyno. It was long ride (for me anyway), took about 6.5 hours up and back including fuel and food stops. After the service and removing a heap of blue metal and tar from inside the lower fairing it went on the dyno, the results are attached. Basically it gained almost 10hp just from the custom map Pete did for it on the dyno. It now also runs cleaner / crisper down low after taking the timing restriction off and blocking the pairs (no more popping thru the cans ), plus getting the fueling spot on. While there I also mentioned to Pete about the front brakes being only adequate for the the bike. Pete recommended some pads for it and after fitting them it definately pulls up better, I think they are EBC sintered pads, Pete will correct if I am wrong. I also brought along a new K & N air filter for it, after the first run Pete put it in and it got another 2 hp with it fitted, but to me the best part was I now get more induction growl from her. I am sure that by now you can tell that I am happy with the result. Pete not only does a good job but is also a good bloke and made me feel very welcome, cheers Steve.
