Anyone heading out to Calder Friday arvo???

I've not been out racing for a few years..... since my R1.

Not at Calder since he robbed ANDRA. Even if he does hand over the money he owes ANDRA, I will never support that slimebag. He collected money from racers and didn't pass it on. I call that obtaining money under false pretenses. Others call it theft.

I was going to run the Vmax but the event has been cancelled as per the Calder Park Website.

The next street drags will be next Friday night (16 April).
I will go along and give it a go if the weather is good.

I'm pretty keen (as long as the weather holds out) and my mate will rock up on his B-King.
I spoke to the lass@Calder today and she says that its FULL leathers if you want to run.
Last time I went, jokers were getting away with jeans, boots, leather jacket&gloves.
I'll post up on Friday before I leave to confirm.

Last time i went i had dragon jeans on.

I've never worn full leathers for Calder. Jeans and a jacket is it for me, always let me race!!

Ok, I'm down for Calder today. The weather is lovely so it should be a well attended day.
I just spoke with Calder and it is FULL leathers for bikes.
The guy said that the last time they ran a few weeks ago, they knocked back a few guys with jeans.
Gates open at 3pm with scrutineering on soon after.
I'll be there (Black GSXR1000K8 with Ti akro system) with my mate on his B-Turd. Ooops, I mean B'King!!

So where was everyone eh???
The weather was ace and there were only 6 bikes and a harley representing the 2 wheel (and tractor) brigade!!
I did 6 runs, all around 10.6 but with terminals of 140 mph.
My 60ft time are crap (1.8 - 1.9s) so its time to go to a quiet road a practice!!

oh, the guys from Top Gear Australia were there dragging the new HSV GTS, a FPV of some sort and a 300C SRT8.
I was talking to the Steve Pizzati and he reackons the GTS is pretty cool.
He fired off a few 13.0 runs in the GTS. The 300c was 4/10 slower and I have no idea what the ford did.
