Hi Bruce

Are you using stock 18 on the front?

Hi Bruce

Yep still stock 18 on the front. Bike is only used as a daily commuter and stock gearing is too tall for stop start lanesplitting.

Nothing is going too far, if your doing the work yourself your only out time and worst case a few bucks for a front sprocket. I'm going 17 front with 45 rear when I get back from Tassie.

It only really gets annoying if you spend a lot of time at speed in top.

Also buy a speedo healer

If you are having trouble finding gen 2 spreckets they are identical to GSXR1000 04 sprockets. Millions available from anywhere.

Search the net and check this Ive had a few Beer.
My 45T was made for a gixxer 1000 pretty sure it was an 04.

Thanks Mate, I think I will do the same and yes I have a speedo healer off my Gen 1, any idea if it will work on a Gen 2 2009
