replace plugs at 12000k's ??

I notice the hand book is telling us to replace the plugs at 12000k's , I would have thought that's a bit premature especially for iridium plugs is everyone changing them at 12000 ???
Also have had the prior services done by a Suzuki dealer so far mainly to protect the warrantee but I'm feeling pretty confident this bike is bullet proof and as such not to concerned about the warrantee (10 months left to go)
I have always done my own service work and considering doing the 12000 service myself (if I can work out how to get the right hand fairing of without braking the clips). My question is this when selling a second hand bike how much extra do you think its worth to see its services have been signed of by a dealer ??

I did my Iridium plugs on the Gen II at 30,000 ks and they were running as new till then.
The only people who look at service books when buying a second hand bike are private buyers and even then, they tend to buy the cheapest bike they can find.
( BUT NOT ALWAYS )

Does the OZ busa come with iridium plugs? American does it says so on their website. Who changes plugs at 12 k.seems medical to me.maybe I should change them to iridium and forget for 100 k kms.
Don't tempt fate,TAUNT IT!
