Rod I dropped mine back in 05 and snapped the end off the lever same as yours. Easy fix was a hose clamp. Install it over the end of the lever with the screw facing out. That is enough to get your foot under and ride normally.

Wears the boot a bit but gets the job done.

As MAJ said if you get stuck let me know and I will send you the complete shifter assembly early tomorrow morning via overnight express.

Send it back when you get home.

BTW I fly back to WA on the 4th as my site manager FCK up and I had to fire him so no BBQ in sydney. Sorry mate.

Can still offer you a place to stay at Prospect tho, my boys are home and have spare rooms if you need somewhere to stay for a few days.

Thanks for all advise i put bolt in today and even got my factory rubber back on feels great went for big ride today Shredder would be proud of me ,Was great to be back on roads i now like the back of my hand.

If the hole where the peg is normally fixed is broken through, drill a hole further up the lever & put a bolt with two nuts for a makeshift toe lever. If not broken, just drill through orig hole.
