Coppers Going Troppo ?
#1
They must be. What about this.... A group of older retired mid week motorcyclists
(you know who Coolsmiley) were at their weekly gathering point in a quiet rural country town. Very relaxed atmosphere, no egos, all having a pre ride natter, minding their own business amongst themselves, harming nobody...... wouldn't say boo to a moo cow types.....

THEN.....out of NOWHERE.............BAM..... flashing lights & action, startled & confused senior riders were surrounded by 2 coppers on bikes & one joker in a car for chrissake !!
Confused

Oh no, that vicious Dads Army Gang busted again RollRollRoll

Licence, R/W & rego checks all round for everyone !! Fair dinkum, they'll be arresting Granny Davis for loitering at this rate....

Oh..........got breath tested myself at 0630 HRS today.........if that thing could read bad breath I would have been busted too.....
Never ride the A model of anything.

Sad but true fact boys and its only going to get worse alot worse!!!

Due to our ever increasing bikie law issues the boys are jumping on bikes other than Harleys to move around .

This flow on effect means we are now targets for the law more so than ever before. Anything on two wheels in Sydney is a target for Raptor!

Bloke on his KTM followed and questioned re gang association based on a riding a bike and having tats!!

The time is coming to seriously stand up and be counted.........regardless of agenda.....bikies laws, number plates, e-tags, safety.

Just time to stand up for the plain message of
MOTORCYCLING IS MAGIC!!!

Public don't know us, pollies don't know us................the time is coming to unite as one regardless of your ride of choice, club or cause and introduce ourselves in a positive light!

As people who are passionate about MC, who ride Green! assist in lowering congestion, parking issues and much much more!Clap

We work hard, pay our taxes, contribute to our communities, raise our families and are on a whole a great bunch of guys & girls!

I grew up in Newcastle (Gods Country) and have to say NSW is a police state. They were always following you and harrassing you because you looked different or rode a bike. I had them pull their guns on me WtfWmonce for riding through the bush on my RM400. But now I live in WA and I would have to say the cops are more understanding here and you can actually talk to the guys. But I feel the new laws that the WA government are bringing in, in regards to bikie gangs, it will not long before we will be targeted just for going for a ride together.

The above paragraph is the fact! The politicians are the ones that determine the laws we live by. Yes there are over zealous dickhead cops out there driven by there own self importance, but at the end of the day if your license is current your rego is paid and there are no skeletons hidden away in your closet then what is there to worry about!
Just for the record, as of the 21/12/09 I have a full quota of points! first time since the points system was introduced that I can actually say that. I put it down to the fact that every other bike I have ever owned I sped on, I know "Big Love" goes fast so I'm not constantly speeding!!!!!!
Woman,where's my wallet?
And whats for tea?

Like any profession you get good and bad.

I have never been booked for anything I didnt actually do and in most cases the copper lowered my speed to reduce the fine.

Most coppers are c******* = bullshit what about the stuff we have gotten away with we tend to forget that when we get booked for some minor thing or someone posts a story about some innocent nuns getting harrased for riding their Vespas to the orphanage.

This constant shit pisses me off take responsibility for your own actions - have any of you actually been booked for something you honestly didnt do?? This is not aimed at anyone posting here but this shit comes up every few months - f*&^ing pigs this and that. Bullshit!

I lost my licence in Feb this year as I got to 12 points, the way I got there really sucked but honestly I have been lucky - every time I get on the bike or even in the car for that matter I break at least some laws we all do.

If you want to complain then get off the net and write a letter to a pollie bitching here about this and that does nothing at all. People who actually care enough to try and change the system (big Kev, Baby busa etc) join an organisation dedicated to changing the laws through political pressure - is anyone here a member of those groups.

Thought not. You cant change the world by bitching to your mates - either get over it and accept things as they are or make your vote count.

This is said by someone to lazy to make his vote count and join action groups but also to lazy to bitch about shit I'm to lazy to change on a public forum.

Most times I've been ranted and raved at by an angry traffic plod they've let me go. The really quiet coppers who say "Good morning rider, do you have areason for doing ### in an 60/80/100 zone?" are the ones that book me. As a result - Love angry traffic coppers. Plus 1 to what Bruce said - It is a voluntary tax and we rarely get booked for something we haven't done. Don't speed, and you wont be booked. Pi_freak

I reckon it's a matter of the time and the place that reduces your chances of being booked.

Be safe this Christmas guys, all the ratbags in the world are now on the roads.
Good weather, good woman, good road, good bike, good-bye!!

Talking road traffic laws, I think they have made approx enough to fill 24 A4 pages (last count) anyone who can go without braking one should be walking on water. Looks like Bruce has made friends with a Hwy ptrl officer or he might trying out to join up Scary
