trouble with my 04 busa

as most of you know my busa is ornimental show peice in my shed with lots of blingy bits on her,i purchased a lumi glo dash kit from OS and since i dont ride the battery went flat , i gave it a jump with my boost pack and i have a lovely plum of smoke from behind the dash , now nothing worked until today when i charged the battery all day and i switched it on and i have my standard dash so im happy that worked out PHEW was freaking about the dash so now all i need do is purchase a new dash kit next yr and it will be good as gold . BUT BUT BUT I HAVE A RUNNING PROBLEM

when i hold RPM at about 4,000 i get a POPPING SOUND and its constant pop pop pop pop while i hold at 4,000 RPM this is my concern right now ,

it could be one of your coils on one of the plugs.
sounds like that booster pack done more damage than it was worth.ill have remember not to use one on my bike.
i would check ya booster pack on a voltage meeter think it might be serging more voltage than it should. ther not very well regulated.
