Talk about weird...
The B-K developed a very 'plasticky' sounding 'clack' whenever I hit the brakes. The sound seemed to come from the plastic cover below the steering damper on the front of the fuel tank.
After a few days I could feel it thru the bars (or maybe just convinced myself that I could).
Anyway, as the warranty runs out at the end of the week, I took it into the Stealership to get checked out.
Turns out the headset bearings were ever so slightly out of adjustment - he tensioned them up a tad and the sound has now disappeared.
TOTALLY unlike any other headset adjustment 'feel' that I've had on any other bike I've owned.
