I'm trying to fit a shift light to a k8, can anyone please tell me best place to find a "switched 12volts" connection? & where to tap into the "tach signal" wire (& what colour it is)???

Pete as said in the nose cone there is a two wire connector that has nothing connected to it (it's a brown plug and will probably be taped to the loom near indicator) this is switched power but as I mentioned yesterday I'd earth light direct to frame. Tach signal wire is Yellow with blue tracer but also so is light high beam. So find the yellow with blue tracer thats not active with high beam on and your good to go.
