Trick Busa

HI guys and gals..... was surfing the net the other nite and came across this busa.. K8 with K6-k7 1000 tail section... looks pretty trick i reakon..
custom sub-frame to fit the busa frame. greggs customs single swinger, not sure on what brand the wheels are. not a bad lookin jigger...was also wondering... does anyone know or have access to a K5 gixxer 1000... i need the measurement for the swingarm.. from the center of the rear axel to the center of the spindle that goes thru the frame..

I want to do this 1000 tail converison to my busa but use a gixxer thou swinger (if the measurements are close). I know it will fit in using my bearings and spacers... just not sure on the lenght..

You will also have to check shock clearance in the 1k swingarm, earlier ones only fit if lowered and using the 1k shock pivot

saw this in '2 Wheel Tuner' magazine couple of months back...

gsxr1000, busa, and a bking... all with the same single-side swingarm.

Yes i forgot about shock clearance.. thanks for that should be no biggie tho.. if worst comes to worst i'll just have to fabricate an alloy bracket of sorts to keep the height.. I already have to make a rear sub-frame to fit the thou tail section ...thanks for the input guys.. would anyone else be interested in doing this tail conversion to their busa??After i have done the proto on my bike if their is enough interest, I will look at making complete kits. Actually in the process of starting up a custom bike business ans aquiring all the tooling ( well i have most of it anyways). Once i start on this i will keep you guys posted on how things are turning out...
