I had to put one on a couple of weeks ago and hope it lasts and sticks like they are supposed to.
Nymboida will test them out for us.

I took one all around the country!
Mate,
the link that Shredder gave you is worth the read. To add to my posting in that thread. I fitted the PR2 to both my Busa and Ducati 749. I recently did a track day on my Ducati at Eastern Creek (half wet and half dry) and they were great. I ran full road pressure (not lower track pressure) in grade B and had a ball. I didnâ€t feel any slip etc even though I was very conscious of it (being a harder rubber than Ducatis usually run) – this is my biggest fear so Im ultra sensitive to any movement – including the imaginary ones. As for my Busa, done 16000k so far on the rear and still not down to the wear indicators. This includes 3000km round trip to Vic, several other fast country rides plus daily commuting. The only thing I may change with both bikes is to use a softer front, as many do. But this is not because either bike has slipped – just me psyching myself out and wondering why everyone elses tyres are shredding and not mine. I dont hesitate in recommending them. My rear PR2 with 19400km after Nymboida weekend Cheers

I just bought a pair of Pilot road 2's today after some disappointing performance from the OEM BT015's. My Gen 2 has just reached 8500kms. My first rear tyre suffered death by big screw at 4500kms, and the 2nd only notched up 4K before hitting canvas. The original front had just reached the wear limits in the middle. 95% of my riding is commuting and I've never raced (no drag strip in Adelaide
![]() Can anyone else that is using/used PR 2's let me know what sort of mileage they're getting (other than shredder/steventh)? Also what pressures have you been running them at on a Busa (I realise there is another thread about pressure running at the moment)? Any other feedback on peoples experience with these (good or bad) would be good to hear. I contemplated putting on a pair of Dunlop Roadsmarts (same price), but was hesitant as I can't find bugger all rider opinion about them. Has anyone got a n opinion on them?

I have just posted a comment of the Pilot Road 2CTs on the mixing front and back discussion.
I am really impressed. Just did a 1500k weekend in the super fast country and no sign of a problem.
