Mini Cooper S

I have an opportunity to get a good late model Mini Cooper S Chilli.
Does anyone here have one or know someone with one that can vouch for them?

Busgo, I don't know if your after power but i just watched top gear season
4 ep 7 & a mini cooper (not S ) got it's arse kicked on the top gear track by
wait for it a skoda fabia BRS DIESEL. think carefully

Faaarck I wish I could afford a Skoda...
I think the Supercharger on the S would make a big difference.

It's the look, ride, finish and quality that I like on the MINI.
The Cooper S has about 128kw as opposed to the standard Cooper of 90kw.

Any other offers of info?

Great looking car that would handle like its on rails in my opinion.

When I was a mechanic I used to work for Miniworld in Eliz St in Melb.
All they did were minis and mini mokes and Leyland P76's if anyone remembers those!!!!

Must admit I didn't like working on them but they are a fun car and have come along way now...nothing like they were.

At least they are made by BMW now so there should be no quality issue's.
