TEMP GAUGE
#1
ANYONE WITH A GEN 2 NOTICED THERE TEMP GAUGE MOVES A FAIR BIT EVEN AT CONSTANT SPEED.

STILL UNDER HALF BUT MINE WAS MOVING FROM A 1/3 TO JUST BELOW HALF TODAY.

ALSO ANYONE HAVING TROUBLE WITH GEAR CHANGES FROM 2ND TO 3RD AND THRU THE HIGHER GEARS.

I HOPING IT WAS THAT MY BOOTS WERE THE PROBLEM BUT IT HAPPENED MORE THAN I LIKED TODAY.

BIKE HAS TRAVELLED 4000 KAYS SO ITS NOT THE INITIAL BREAK IN.

PLENTY OF OIL AND CLUTCH FLUID TOO.

I have no problems with the clutch, but my temp gauge does the same

Rev i think it stems form a more efficient cooling system. mine does it but very irregularly due to it being so cold here at the moment anyway.

Mine consistantly sits below the half and only slightly creeps up to sit just a smidge under the half if your stuck riding slow....

(Fair bit warmer up here)

Mine sits on 1/2 most of the time but to be honest i dont look at it much.
I seem to spend more time looking for cameras, helicopters and un marked cars

I have only done some 300k's but the temp guage sits just under half pretty much all of the time. Having come from Hondas the Suzuki's box is sweet for me most of the time.

Haven't spoken to a dealer. But I don't think it's a problem as it never goes over halfway. I think it may have something to do with the thermostat
