I'm in the process of taking some pics of my bike relating to the k8 recall.
I would greatly appreciate a photo from a bike whose vin is outside of the range affected by the recall ie. has the correct wiring. The affected vin range is: JS1CK111300100001 - JS1CK111300100575, so the last three numbers of your vin needs to be higher than 575.
To take the photo, turn the bars hard left and aim you camera at the point where the bar wiring (ignition etc) attaches just under the middle of the dash. An example of the kind of thing I'm after is the second photo in this post by MarkOz, hope it's ok to link to this.
For those who post such a picture, I would like your permission to use it as reference material with a letter to Suz Oz and won't identify anyone other than to say it's from a bike outside of the recall vin range.
