Extended swing arm?
#1
G'Day, I have been throwing around some ideas on my 04 Busa.
Should I sell it or do some modifications like turbo, lowwer and extend it.

So the question is where can I get extended swing arms from and how much are they?

From what i have read around it sounds like 6 inches extended it the way to go.

Are they still street rideable with the extension on them?

Any information is apreciated.

6 is too long to hook up on the street, 2-4 is a good usable length, if you limit your boost levels for 95 pump fuel you don't realy need much if any extra length.
my streetbike is +3 at the moment and i use up to 12 psi , with race fuel i will go to 15 in the higher gears.

Thanks for the link and advice.

I haven't made it into a turbo yet.
Just asking a lot of questions and trying to find out what works, what doesn't.

Was also going to lower it a bit as well.
Was trying to maybe get it to look like the bike in the biker boyz that Smoke rides if possible.

Thanks agin.

I've got 4" to 6" adjustable extensions on mine and looks awesome but if you're going to drag it, i'd probably agree maj. Mine is purely for looks and it does take a bit of getting use to on round abouts.
