M4 slip ons for Gen II - Leviathan - 23-05-2008

Has anyone seen & heard the M4 slip ons in the flesh? They are apparently louder than the R-77's but quieter than the Alien heads. They look good on the grey/black.

I saw a ZX14R with them on a couple of weeks ago and they sounded great.
Deep and throaty.

I think they should be knicknamed lovelace pipes.

Had them on my ZX-14 guys, yeh, they sounded awesome, but way too loud for daily use in my opinion. I currently have a ZX7r with a full d&d system and that doesn't even come close to the M4's. If you love to make an entrance, they are your pipe, but be warned....they are obnoxious in my opinion.

Thanks Bugso & Copperjosh for your feedback.

Copperjosh, do you know what Db level they punched out?

They are over 120db at 3000rpm with the baffles in....that is the equivalent of a jumbo jet taking off....they are just too loud.

You will definately suffer hearing loss with them unless you are wearing ear plugs at all times....and forget about any stealth...the police will hear you miles away and you'll be stressing about a sound fine all the time....i know i was.

120db at 3k sounds pretty damn loud. i know i'm worried about my short meg system which is 97db at idle. yes i need plugs as my right ear is stilling ringing from a 50 kay ride. i think the r77 in carbon would be a good choice for the money and sound and removeable baffles if required.
