MotoGP championship - Leviathan - 19-05-2008
Just watched the Le Mans MotoGP. Rossi took the flag for his 90th GP win. Looks like the championship fight will be a good one this year. My money is on Rossi now that he has a sniff, but Honda is still to release the pneumatic valve engine for Pedrosa & co.
Standings are now
1st. Rossi 97points
2nd Lorenzo & Pedrosa 94 points
4th Stoner 54 points
For those who didn't get to see the race
1st. Rossi
2nd. Lorenzo
3rd. Edwards
Yamaha 1,2,3.
Pedrosa finished 4th, he was up front all race but backed off when a few sprinkles of rain fell.
Unfortunately Stoner had a drive issue, got on the "wet" bike but finished 16th. West finished 14th & on a good note Vermeulen had a good race and finished 5th.
