is it just the injector noise??

RE: new 08 sounds noisey - BUSGO - 03-05-2008

Check your oil level and make sure that you don't run full synthetic oil.
The recommended is semi synth with JAMO MA rating.

RE: new 08 sounds noisey - Maj - 03-05-2008

Busgo i like fully synthetic, never had any probs i would associate with running it ,impressed me years ago when i dissasembled a triumph daytona to "hot it up and after 20,000kms of flogging it looked new inside (mobile 1 since new) then the bloody stuff wouldn't wash off my hands easily, another plus as far as i was concerned.
all my bikes only get full synthetic..

RE: new 08 sounds noisey - BUSGO - 04-05-2008

I understand the possible benefits of running high quality full synthetic oil MAJ and I ran it for a couple of years in my 99 model.
I have found by trial that it does definitely add to the engine noise level though and a few of the new K8 owners have found out the hard way that it does not work well with the clutch and gearbox.
