RE: For the tall (& old) - Gaz57 - 26-04-2008 Hi Tom, The pegs are good, with the extra leg room my knees now fit into the tank better and what I think the space was originally designed for. I didn't notice any more vibes untill you asked, might have a little more but nothing to worry about. Two things that you have to be careful of are. 1 Clearance with boots on the pegs. ( my not be a problem for you). 2 I find the new pegs a bit slippery compared to the old pegs. Hope this helps mate. Gaz RE: For the tall (& old) - LOAFIE - 26-04-2008 Ive heard that the 08 pegs are lower, can anyone verify either way??? Also found these http://www.motorradgarage.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=38_56&products_id=633 RE: For the tall (& old) - xxxdamoxxx - 26-04-2008 i have the same pegs on mine and you do have to watch when going around corners as your boot does scrap the ground but just put your toes on the pegs and problem solved and i dont think you notice any vibe but does give you more leg room RE: For the tall (& old) - BUSGO - 26-04-2008 No Loafie, the 08 pegs are not lower but they are a different peg. They have a hollow rubber surface rather than a solid rubber. |
