Hi bro

I just bought a rectangle shaped sports bag averaged size and put a oxford cargo net over that with a couple of occy straps works a treat.Ive just run my new k8 in and went away for three day 1100km trip with that set up and that did me fine.

I have an Oxford rear seat bag with a 26litre capacity when expanded out.
It holds enough for a few days but a larger capacity will be needed for the 1 week + trips.

There is a new range of Suzuki luggage shown on their accessories pages but I don't know what their quality or capacity is.

This was my old ventera 99 rack, cut off the old brackets & replaced with a new home made job, I was searching for a Bagster 08 tank/bag cover but its a 3 month wait list

yeah, atleast a ventura rack is good, what ive always wanted is hard luggage, had soft luggage flogged of bikes before, my current cbr600f4i i cant get hard luggage for, but i guess a rack and tank bag would be good enough.

still trying to find a test ride of one fo the buggers though.

Coffee
I bought the cargo endurance soft type bags as recommended by Jeff Ware, editor in Rapid magazine. It took me a couple of lazy hours to really fit them to the best harness points and clear pipes as well as make it comfortable for the pillion. They look good, work well but may partly hinder side view of turning signal lights. I taped all strapping up so they can be fitted in a couple of minutes nowadays.
Hope this helps?

Coolafro

Ive seent the Ventura Racks in the shops, was quoted $240 if you already have a bag. $390 rack and bag, no bargaining done yet. Ventura is good for me as I have a setup with bags for my Buell already, work well but I have seen someone over tigten the lock nuts b4 and loose there rack and luggage on route, neally took out his missus following behind!!! A good lesson learned.

Im pritty keen on this setup unless I get shown something better. Usually take 2 x 40 lt bags to Motogp at the island every year, dont even notice you have them on after a few 100 ks.

Keep me posted
Dave
