Comments on DIY section please - Louwai - 29-03-2008

OK all, there are a few items in the DIY section now.

Please have a look & offer your comments / criticisims.

I have re-named each thread so that it is generally in alphabetical order. ATM you will need to "sort" the list buy Ticking all of them on the right side & then at the bottom in the 3 boxes choose, "Sort by SUBJECT" "Sort Accending" Sort from the beginning"

I have asked Volvie if that "sort" can be made default. But for now it's manual.

Have a look at how it's all been done.
Is this generally OK, or does anyone have ideas of a different format.

dam good idea busa fairings alone can be a nightmare too the uninitiated

Next time I am opening the fairing for some work - will defiantly take some pictures and upload the same.

There's a couple of "push clips" under the head light that need to be removed, I didn't notice it mentioned in the fairing removal tips.

You may find some bikes are missing them, they fall out or owner forgets to put them in, or breaks them etc etc.

Just some advise.

yep - was going to add that - ok - didn't do the braided clutch line - but did the cush drive & oil line - removed plastics with pics - but not the rear section... will post it all up in the DIY forum later this evening. lots of pics lol !! Also included pics for screen change over :)
