DIY instructions - Louwai - 27-03-2008 OK all, the new DIY Instructions section is open for business. I'm looking forward to your contributions. This section will provide detailed and step-by-step instructions for doing things on your Hayabusa. From things as simple as changing a headlight globe, adding that long awaited Bling, through to a major service & more. The information quantity & quality is limited only by the amount of effort the individual authors are willing to put in. If you wish to contribute your knowledge, please do the following. 1) Clearly describe your activities step by step, from start to completion. 2) If possible, take photos of each step for clarity. 3) Add comments & arrows etc to photos if required for further clarity. 4) If you are doing a large, long term project, try to break it up & submit it as several smaller sections which can be done individually by others. 5) Send your submission to me, Louwai, (Bryan Middleton) bryan@mdam-imports.com.au or PM me. I will format it to suit the forum requirements. No content editing will be done without consulting the author. Cheers all & I hope this section is a help to your next DIY bike project. RE: DIY instructions - BLACKZOOK - 27-03-2008 Good on you mate there are plenty of old posts out there that detail mods very well. Some that come to mind are from Pan and others, maybe they could update them and resubmit to you. I would love to see some from Legend, Gazza, Maj et al detailing some of the stuff they do everyday even if they were to hide their secret mods it would still be very informative. RE: DIY instructions - ROD - 27-03-2008 Good one Bryan i will go over the old posts and start sending you some like we said mite take a bit but like you said better to start fresh RE: DIY instructions - Louwai - 28-03-2008 Thanks Rod, Will be a big help. I've started (#1) but didn't have time last night to really go over things. Bruce, We'll see what we come up with. Would be good to see a few from yourself. By the general response in the other thread + what I have received in emails, it seems that this may have been something several people are looking for. Hopefully it takes off & we end up with a library of great information. Bryan |
