my easter project :) - RaZ - 22-03-2008 ![]() A little frustrating, but with Jay's help we managed to get a full system on, didn't remove the pair valve system, left it alone - I checked 2Cute's as she has a full system with tri oval can & hers is still there & does not back fire Good news is - even winding down from 9,800rpm - she didn't bubble or cackle at all after fitting the system. Engine rev's heaps free which I like & the sound she makes when cams come on are unreal :) I came about the system from mybb as I found my micron cans had split & was in danger of falling off :( big IOU there but helping him out with something.... else so to speak. anyway - pics!!! oh - side note is that Jay reckons the bit more quite with it...but crisper.. instead of the twin pipes grumble :( makes me sad. arthur dunga said you didn't have to take off the radiator to fit a new full system.... well true.. you don't. But you might as well. Had to loosen off the rad from oil cooler - no problem there. the bitch was we did have to drain the rad & disconnect the hoses. Not a huge issue but just to be sure we didn't damage anything. Full system (Titanium) :) with RS3 stainless steel can. Polished up alright as well :) ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: my easter project :) - Gnarbunkle99 - 22-03-2008 Yes Sir, there is a bit more work to fitting a full system than most imagine. RE: my easter project :) - jaycbr250 - 22-03-2008 no shit raz told me it was simple he had all the info.heh i ended up having to work it out spring possies and crap raz was a big help it all ended up really nice but so quite with a nice sharp bark. RE: my easter project :) - arthur dunga - 23-03-2008 Have you ditched the removable baffle? RE: my easter project :) - jaycbr250 - 23-03-2008 ??? RE: my easter project :) - RaZ - 23-03-2008 Arthur :) hey dude! Thanks for your info on doing this job - helped heaps (Well for me it did :) I knew what the go was lol) mmm, removable baffle?? didn't know there was one? in the can?? :) please, do go on & tell me more :) I HATE that its more quite :( RE: my easter project :) - jaycbr250 - 23-03-2008 It is so much different in the power delivery raz is stunned no baffle fitted so clean straight out.I just hope he dont hi side himself its a tad more responsive than he is used too. RE: my easter project :) - RaZ - 23-03-2008 yep - have to agree, I am really surprised by the difference of the bike now, its like a whole new animal when it comes to power delivery & they way it wants to take off. So it will take some getting used to coz Jay is right, if I was to keep riding it the way I have been - with the extra power, I'll end up in trouble me thinks. RE: my easter project :) - LOAFIE - 23-03-2008 Looks great Raz, its really amazing how much a full system makes. When i put my system on it made it a far more ridable beast. ![]() RE: my easter project :) - DjPete - 23-03-2008 i'm keen to hear what was involved in the baffle removal.... More info? RE: my easter project :) - TimF - 23-03-2008 The R-77 has a baffle that is removable with one screw. Anything similar on this? RE: my easter project :) - DjPete - 23-03-2008 ive had mine off twice and removed wadding...still not happy.....Im willing to go in for a 3rd time but this time I wanna do the business...I'm sick of pussyfooting around! lol RE: my easter project :) - abusa - 23-03-2008 That sounded wrong in so many ways DJ, LOL "I have had mine off and removed the wadding" "I wanna do the business" RE: my easter project :) - DjPete - 23-03-2008 come on Shayne info info...you outta know how.
