The heat is on in the spurs
Please be cautious in the reefton and black spurs in fact the whole area a police crackdown has started will run till at least the end of march.went that way today saw no less than 7 cars and/or bikes waiting and they were the marked ones there was even a 4wd with a radar 9kms up the reefton on the straights clocked me at mmm shall we say well over the limit by the time i worked out it was a cop i was well past him but poor RAZ the guy just went and pulled out on him after razz told him how stupid a move that was he let razz go.nice cop as were the other ones we met but guys they were every where so take care please.

Well that was a smart move...................3/4 of the motorcycling population of Victoria are at Philip Island and plod is ghosting the spurs alone cept for you 2 blokes

nah - had him pull out of the bushes in front of me... while I was doing 1xx & he knew - I friggen gave him a serving for it coz he didn't have his flashy lights or anything, if it was not a copper I would have gone right off my nut!

but for christ sakes why in the hell would you be speeding up reefton and the spur anyway.
we all know that they blitz the area with hidden cameras, police bikes ( marked and unmarked) , radars and trolling marysville for covered rego .
Its a given that they will be every weekend .
anyone who goes up there and loses there liscense for speeding not only deserves the break , but needs a slap for being stupid.

The blitz is due to a stupid group called the "Black Spur Racing Team"
Brought so much attention to the area that the coppers were forced to do something about the situation.

The other thing is the boy racers up there coming on my side of the road , every corner you are waiting to be wipped out by some toss who garages his bike all year until summer and then gets it out thinking his Rossi.

I just cant stand seeing people riding with no gear on,like fuckall gear.
Saw an r1 yesterday,sneakers,shorts an singlet on the fwy.
I was wtf ,thats road rash waiting to happen.
There what i call " lebo altona spec" riders.
Trust me,id know.

as long as you learnt from it mate :)
tho I have to admit to squidding it to work as of late, jeans, leather jacket or textile, gloves, boots & heltmet of course.... just the jeans part.... no protection over the knees :/

id be in my gear,xept the day i came off!
Draggins in the wash an i had industrie jeans on instead...

yeah I know the type, on the way to work this morning had someone at the other set of lights rocks up on a BMW, pretty much full kit - well same as me, then some dude on a Z750 or something rocks up, shorts, bluntstones, no gloves, jacket on - but not zipped up, just flapping around, neither me or the bwm rider gave him a nod back...

like that,because if they know what its like theyd think more
than twice about riding around like that
