RE: time to stir the pot - mechanx - 02-02-2008

i thought you were a nice bloke busgo , but since you've become and adm , i don't think that anymore . I don't think i'm the only one either who thinks this way .

RE: time to stir the pot - BUSGO - 02-02-2008

Well that is your choice Mark.
I accepted the role because we needed to keep the site as it was meant to be.
Things have been fine since we started fresh.
If I see reason to take action, that is my job.
Sorry if you don't like the revitalised club but that is what the majority of members like and we will keep it that way.
The thing is, I have not had to do any administering till you reappeared.
Volvi has clearly stated the expected site behaviour and it is the Admin's role to enforce it.
Whether it is I or any of the other four Admin team, we will preserve our club culture.
I just happen to be more active on the forum than some of the others.

None of the members should be subjected to any of the crap that took place late last year and if it takes a very small amount of censorship to maintain a standard, that is my JOB not my choice.

So smile and participate like the rest of the members and you will find that I am the nice bloke that you thought that I was.

Well i read it and i think (only think mind u) its mostly a load of shit busgo. Just couldnt help myself to say something, as u probably think we all here think on your lines Undecided
f*** i'm glad you're not a Hwy Patrol officer.
I wil wait for your reply before i go through it line by line.

Mark... thanks for the offer to stir the pot, but I think you're talking about the old pot with the old recipe that needed a lot of stirring. No-one really found it tasty or palatable. That old pot is over in the corner. Its contents have congealed into a solid mass and there's a lid on it. If you look closely, you'll notice the lid has been welded shut. No-one complained when it was taken off the stove. Kawa wanders over to the old pot on a fairly regular basis and bangs it a few times trying to get someone interested in stirring it again... but no-one seriously wants the old recipe back on the menu. It was too spicy and had a lot of heat. It went through us like a dose of salts and gave everyone heartburn and nausea.

Feel free to take that old pot away with you and stir it as much as you want. Just don't open it here because it'll stink to high heaven by now and we don't want to have to put up with that.

There's a new pot now and its bubbling away nicely. No stirring required.

RE: time to stir the pot - Volvi - 03-02-2008

rest assured if it raises its ugly head once again I will decapitate it and this time permanently, period. and Busgo has my full support and I believe hes doing an excellent job on "our" behalf not his own. and because Im not interested in debating this issue I will close the thread so it doesnt get out of hand also it has been open long enough for responses, time now to put it down.
