For those who have bought- or - are thinking about buying a K8 - Astro - 16-12-2007

For anyone who has a Generation I busa thinking about buying a K8, (or those that already have bought one).

Was just wondering how many of you - kept / are going to keep - your original Generation I bike as well.

I have said private sale of Gen 1. but that is not entirely true.
I will retain both for an assessment period and to do some comparisons, maybe a story for Rapid mag.
I have all intentions to move on to the GEN II. However, my fortunate position to have both for a while may swing me back to the GEN 1 but I don't think so.

Braddo, who has been offline for a month or so, got a changeover price yesterday of $5000.00 for a Black 07 to a Blue 08.
Brand new 07 GEN1 bikes are now on the market for $15,400. with 12 months rego.
So if you prefer to upgrade to a NEW GEN 1, now is the time.

I've got my '99 sitting in the shed, not being ridden. - just don't get time.
So I suppose if I bought a new Gen 2 I could use the excuse that it was for company for the old one.

You reckon the Mrs might believe that?
