Tassie Anyone - BUSGO - 14-03-2006

Some friends in Newcastle are toying with the idea of doing a week in Tassie leading up to the MotoGP.
Many of us have been to Tas in March but not September.
About the 2nd week of September.
Can one of the Tassie locals give us an idea of the weather down that way at that time of year please?

Tassie Weather - Evero - 14-03-2006

Busgo, mate its a bit of a lottery that time of year but usually its not too bad.

The one advantage is that if it does rain at that time of year it typically isn't state wide, so once down here you can pick and choose your routes daily depending on the local weather.

March is the time of year but, just did a 1100km 2 day west coast loop last weekend - 30 degs on the west coast + fantastic roads = one shagged rear

Thanks Evero,
I spent 12 days there in March 98 and only had 1 wet day (West coast of course). It was awesome.

Now we know what to expect we will check out our options.
