A) Logged in and lurking like me sometimes
B) Logged in and eating dinner
C) Logged in and replying to a thread that does'nt show up in the "Latest Posts" link

Re: Lots of people on the board - AstroBusa - 28-02-2006

Hmmm.... I often log in and read the topics I missed out on while I was away for the past 6 months. I don't usually respond to them because they are out of date.

I don't 'Log Out' - just shut down my browser, so maybe I still show as active even after I've shut my 'puta down.... not sure.

I usually post at least one response while i'm online though. The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob (Astro)

Re: Lots of people on the board - pan - 28-02-2006

I have it as my homepage, so when my computer is on, it usually logs me on, even if I'm just writing reports in Microsoft Word...

Re: Lots of people on the board - demeester - 01-03-2006

People show as logged in for 15 minutes after their last activity - so you don't show up after you turn off your computer (well, after 15 mins)

I too never log out. I do a refresh two or three times a day, and each time will show as logged in...

Re: Lots of people on the board - BUSGO - 01-03-2006

Generally, if you are lurking in the one thread, you have to hit the refresh button to force it to update the details.
Just because you are logged on, it doesn't request a page update unless you prompt for one.
