New TRE, now the FI light? - Tito - 29-10-2007 Hey guys. Was curious if you could help. Just fitted my new TRE. Now when I turn the bikes ignition on, get the usual dial and dash lights check, but the "FI" light stays on. Can start the bike, seems to run ok, FI light stays on. Decided not to leave the bike running just in case. Any clues? RE: New TRE, now the FI light? - Maj - 29-10-2007 Unplug the tre and see if it stops or see the post at the top of the tech pages about busa codes. RE: New TRE, now the FI light? - BUSGO - 29-10-2007 Also ensure that you plugged the TRE into the correct plug joint. AND, some TRE's have been known to be faulty with dry solders etc. If you are in a position to borrow or test someone else's TRE it will probably help a lot. RE: New TRE, now the FI light? - Gaz57 - 30-10-2007 Hi Tito, I'll go with the first one Busgo said. The correct plugin piont is the one lower down under the tank on the wiring loom under the seat, not the one up near the tank. The one you're after is down closer to the breather hose that comes from the air box where it goes on the back of the motor or gear box. Gaz RE: New TRE, now the FI light? - Tito - 30-10-2007 Busgo and Gaz,............................genius. ![]() RE: New TRE, now the FI light? - BUSGO - 30-10-2007 Glad you got it sorted. ![]() |
