Before and after shots.
Paint stripper to get the gold paint off and a bit of a workover with the Gurney, repeat 3 times.
Milspec hard anodised black left underneath on carriers. Rotors scrubbed up, masked off and painted with pot belly stove high temp paint.
Red anodising on buttons a little faded but I may paint them if a bright red high temp spray paint exists?

Been on the front buttons for about a year now without problems.

After paint is dry bake them in the oven for 20 minutes at 120c to harden the paint

Onya bruce, I'll be down to the auto shop today, then I plan to do some baking in the kitchen, after mum goes to work of course.

Had to pull the pin, cold and humid means they hadn't dried out enough. Will give it another go when the oven is next unsupervised.
